The PH-EITI would like to express our gratitude for our industry stakeholders’ continued cooperation and patience. We believe that the industry’s continued support and participation are essential in achieving our goal of transparency and accountability in the extractive industries.
In line with this and to accommodate reporting entities still working towards compliance with the EITI reporting, the PH-EITI has decided to extend the previous deadlines. The new deadlines are as follows:
- Deadline for submission of documentary requirements (BIR-related documents and BO-related documents) – 10 July 2024
- Deadline for ORE data entries / offline data submission – 31 July 2024
The PH-EITI would also like to commend and acknowledge the forty-three (43) extractive companies that have already submitted the documentary requirements, specifically the BIR Taxpayer’s Waivers with the attached Sec. Certificates for fifty-one (51) projects. We extend our sincere appreciation for their timely compliance with the EITI reporting requirements. The Taxpayer’s Waivers and Sec. Certificates provided to PH-EITI will be submitted to the BIR to process the release of the projects’ BIR data.
