PH-EITI Launches the FY 2025 Reporting Cycle
We are pleased to announce the official commencement of the FY 2025 PH-EITI Reporting Cycle. For over a decade, the Philippines has remained steadfast in its commitment to the EITI, striving to champion transparency, accountability, and the good governance of our natural resources.
PH-EITI acknowledges the vital participation of all reporting government agencies, state-owned enterprises, and extractive companies. Building on our momentum, we proudly published the FY 2023 and FY 2024 Reports in December 2025. This dual-report approach successfully closed the reporting gap, ensuring stakeholders have access to current and accurate data. Timely information is essential for informed decision-making and for advancing the standards of resource governance in the country.

Overview of the Reporting Process
Full participation in the FY 2025 PH-EITI Reporting Cycle requires the submission of pertinent documents and the entry of data through our designated reporting platform.
Step 1: Submission of Required Legal Documents
Please submit the following original, signed, and notarized documents to PH-EITI:
- BIR/Taxpayer’s Waiver
- BIR Secretary’s Certificate
- Notarized Company Waiver: Disclosure of Beneficial Ownership (BO) Declaration
- Notarized Secretary’s Certificate for BO Documents
- Politically Exposed Person (PEP) Declaration Form: Beneficial Ownership
Note: Legal document templates are available for download at: https://pheiti.dof.gov.ph/country-reports.
Step 2: Data Entry via the Online Reporting in the Extractives (ORE) Tool
Input, review, and submit the required EITI data. This information is central to the reconciliation process and will be featured in the upcoming Country Report.
Step 3: Submission of Additional Supporting Documents
Following the initial submissions, the Independent Administrator (IA) will conduct the reconciliation process by cross-matching company disclosures with government records.
Where discrepancies are identified, the IA may request further clarifications, additional documentation, or revised submissions. This process continues until all material differences are adequately explained or resolved.
REMINDER
All steps outlined in the PH-EITI reporting process are mandatory and hold equal weight for full compliance. Meeting deadlines is critical; entities that fail to complete all requirements or submit after the deadline will be classified as non-participants in the PH-EITI.
We deeply appreciate your continued collaboration and dedication to promoting integrity within the extractive sector. We look forward to your active participation.
